- Responsibilities
- Work professionally with clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, colleagues, and fellow employees
- Maintain licensing and seek continuing education classes
- Confidently make decisions on client policies and accounts
- Provide service, marketing and renewal support
- Prepare and implement all transactions, paperwork and internal processing
- Seek and acquire an understanding of clients and prospects' insurance needs
- Stay abreast of changes in the insurance industry and other external conditions that may impact clients
- Make proactive recommendations to clients
- Manage complex service issues, including negotiation with underwriters and claims reps
- Participate in marketing initiatives
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Preferred 5 years commercial lines experience and active NC Property and Casualty license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to set accurate and predictable expectations with our customers
- Independently motivated
- Solve complex problems
- Detail oriented
